Occam Deli in Munich

Cake and cappuccino are great here. Unfortunately, the breakfast and lunch menu is far too overpriced and there is little choice of vegetarian dishes.

Delicious eaten, friendly service, nice ambience

Appointment made with the boss for a small celebration. The boss, however, was not present on the agreed day at the agreed time. The present employee could neither reach him nor did he know anything about our appointment. Without words! This shop probably doesn't need the guests or income - but we even less need to leave our money here.

We started coming here shortly after it opened some years ago. Originally set up as a modern NY style cafe with a mix of continental and NY deli style food. The concept has evolved over time but some of the basics like good coffee, nice cakes and desserts have still remained. Food here in general is also good but service can be quite inconsistent. The kitchen is pretty efficient here and normally you don’t wait long for your meals. We come here from time to time and will continue to do so.

Food is good but service is the worst!

It's a nice shop in itself, I used to go there quite often. But now the food was very bad several times, really inedible and overpriced. In addition, we had such poor service today that we had to leave. The waiter walked past us at least 5 times, wiped empty tables, just not ours and when we asked him, he complained that we weren't the only guests (the other tables were empty and the restaurant was half empty too) a shame, that the quality has deteriorated so extremely.

we had the cheesecake (4/5), the shatshuka (5/5) and the spinach lettuce (4/5). Coffee is delicious. There are also milk alternatives such as oats. The deli was rightly rated as such, especially because of the hip interior and menu. The prices are justified at this level (in my opinion). The only thing was the service. We forgot 2 coffees and then put them on the bill twice when we remembered them. (unfortunately noticed too late)

Very very delicious sandwiches. Every topping was cut in thick slices for best balanced taste. Coffe was very good too. Staff is friendly, many tables outside and inside. Can only recommend to get a sandwich here!

If you are around the Münchener Freiheit area and feel for having breakfast, coffee and cake or lunch, Occam Deli is a great choice for all of those. Great food, very reasonable prices, nice interior and professional and friendly staff. Offers also outside seating for the sunny days.

Food is quite tasty, but the service is awful, waiters rude and hate their job.. expnsive for the portions you get, sad because we love the food and atmosphere inside. Im a coffee lover so i wouldnt go there for the coffee, saddest cappuccinos ever :(

You can eat very well here. It is also nice to sit on the street and watch the hustle and bustle of the city. The English garden is nearby for a side trip after breakfast. Service is quick and very friendly. Highly recommended!

Went for brunch and it was a nice experience. Cool vibes, great cake selection though I didn’t try any. I got the French toast and it was tasty but not mind blowing and I was still hungry when I got home from the meal. I would come back but still looking for an exceptional brunch!

Food is good, the drinks are soo expensive. For a glass of water you pay 2,90 euros, water!!Maybe is for climate change this price. And for a miniorange juice 4,50 euros.

Nice bakery with lively and friendly atmosphere. One of the few true brunch spots I have found in Europe! Food and drinks were tasty- highly recommend croque monsieur, homemade lemonade, and cheesecake.

My favorite brunch and dinner place close to Münchner Freiheit in Schwabing. Deli concept with very good food. Portions for guys might be small but very jummy. Make sure to check out the cakes on the weekends!!!! They have so many different ones. Classic Kaffee und Kuchen :)

Fantastic place for a Saturday or Sunday Brunch or coffee. The environment is still fairly quiet on weekends and the staff as warm and friendly.

Discovered Occam Deli using a Google Maps search, the photos looked very tempting. Very pleased I visited too. The menu wasn't in English but the options were explained (plus Google Translate). Plenty of locals inside which was a good sign for me. Had the French Toast with Bacon and it was delicious as the cinnamon and sugar balance were spot on.

Great atmosphere and very good food

I really like this place, they have great sandwiches and the whole location in maxvorstadt. The pastrami sandwich would be my recommendation. Service took a while but at the end everything was good ok!

Good news, we found great Pastrami, tucked in a corner in Münchener Freiheit! That was really delicious! Worth a lovely evening. Would definetly recommend

Located in a very trendy area in Munich, this restaurant will offer you different vibes depending on what time you go. Perfect for brunch, lunch or dinner or also to have a piece of a delicious homemade cake with a coffee. Great atmosphere during summer nights sitting outside in the street! Cocktails also made our day! The pastrami sandwich and bagels were a perfect option!
